Dear Readers
It was hot and still and muggy in Paris today, and all day I’ve felt damp and overheated and tired, plus perhaps the foreigness of everything and the constancy of the city (it is never quiet) is starting to wear me down a bit. There’s a great expression in French, “Je suis creve,” the verb “crever” denoting what happens to an automobile tire when it gets punctured. That’s how I am today. Deflated. Flat. Punctured.
So, my apologies, but no blog post today. Check back tomorrow, SVP.

Its warm and breezy and beautiful as usual here in Sonoma County. . . and we just had a birthday cake break — ahhhh life is good.

Some days are like that. Hope you feel better tomorrow. We always say…at least the dog’s not dead.

Hey Steve — when you’re having one of these “deflated” days, go back and read your post about how amazing it is to be living in Paris . . . And if that doesn’t do the trick, I can fill you in on work which is guaranteed to make you feel better! Hope you all have a nice (and cooler) weekend.
